We thought that as Bryce's hair got longer it would start to lay down but, that's not the case. We have to completely wet it down before we brush it and some days Wayne has to resort to gel to get it to stay down.

Chatterbox
Bryce has been a little chatterbox lately. He'll just come up to Wayne or myself and start carrying on a conversation. Here's a little of what he has to say...

Playing in my cornmeal sandbox
Bryce enjoyed playing in his "sandbox" today. I think he had more cornmeal on the patio then he did in his box by the time he got done...
But mom, I wasn't done playing yet

Rainy day fun
We might as well have had a typhoon today with as hard as it was raining. We went out for a little this afternoon and we were all soaking wet by the time we got home. So, we stayed inside and played for the rest of the day.

10 years...
Wayne & I celebrated our 10 year anniversary today. We've shared so many exciting adventures with each other that 10 years have flown by. We have lived in North Dakota, visited Canada, we've lived in Okinawa for the past 5 years exploring the island and enjoying all the festivals and Japanese culture, climbed Mt. Fuji and explored Tokyo, went white water rafting in Colorado, and of course our best and most exciting adventure to date, traveling to Kazakhstan to bring the most wonderful little boy into our family. And we still have more adventures ahead of us. Our time here in Okinawa is almost coming to an end (10 months left and counting) and we're hoping to stay overseas. We put in our choices for our next base today so, within the next few months we'll hopefully learn where we're going next. So, stay tuned.
