Leaving on a jet plane

Bryce loves airplanes. He knows the sound of a jet now (easy to do since they fly over our house all day long) and looks up into the sky to see where the airplane is at. If we're in the house, he will even go to the patio door to see if he can see where the airplane is. If you ask him what sound an airplane makes, he'll make the sound and put his hand up in the air as if he were flying one. Now, lets hope that he enjoys airplanes as much after he gets to spend about 20 hours flying on one in the next few weeks.

Eisa Festival

We attended the all island Eisa/Orion Beer Festival for the last time this weekend. Wayne & I have been coming to this festival for the past 5 years. Bryce got to go for the first time and we dressed him in a boy's summer kimono. He had a great time running around playing, seeing the Eisa dancers, and watching the other kids in their summer kimonos. The Japanese ladies would come up and say how cute he was.
