. Cherry Blossoms & Tangerines

We went to the Cherry Blossom Festival and then on to pick tangerines today. The cherry blossoms aren't in full bloom yet so, we didn't get to see too many. We went to pick tangerines afterwards and Bryce had a good time pulling them off of the trees. I think he enjoyed it more when the would roll down the hill after he dropped them. Some of the Japanese ladies that were there gave him some of their tangerines to fill his bucket with. You can eat the tangerines as you're picking them so, we were all enjoying that.

Little boy

Bryce got a haircut this week. When his hair started to get into his eyes, daddy decided it was time to take him in. Now with his short hair, he doesn't look like a baby anymore, he looks like a little boy.

Which state will it be....????

Well, I jinxed ourselves in our Christmas letter when I said we were hoping to end up in either Washington State or Idaho. Niether of those states were on the list of choices that came out this week. We'll find out where we're going on the 16th of February. So, which state will it be....????

Family Pics

Since I've been bad and haven't taken any new pics lately, I thought I would post some of the pictures from our family photos that we had taken. For our first family photo, I was expecting a "Hallmark" moment and for Bryce to be the perfect little angel. Instead, he was the typical 1 year old and had his sights set on playing in the water & sand. So, we started out in the beach in one outfit, after he fell in the water, we ended up on land in another outfit and by the end of our photo session, we gave in and just let him play in the water like he had been wanting to do all day...

Winter has arrived in Okinawa!

On Christmas Day, Bryce was playing with his sand table in shorts and a t-shirt....

Then, the cold weather arrived this weekend and we were all bundled up to go for our walk last night...

(You would think they way Bryce is dressed that we were heading into the Artic but sadly, cold to us these days is 63 degrees. Next winter will be rough for us!)

Christmas Lights

On Christmas Night, we all went to the Botanical Gardens to see the Christmas light display. The lights were beautiful and they had the lights set up like a jungle, under the sea, a golf course and lights in the water. Bryce had a good time playing at the playground and running around seeing all the lights.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! Bryce had a good first Christmas (as you can see by the pics). He became a pro at unwrapping his presents pretty quickly. He got lots of fun new toys and books. Right now, his favorite is his very loud lawn mower from his Aunt Lori. He decided to take a break from all the toys and laid down in the wrapping paper.
