Super Typhoon Man-yi

I know that some of you have been watching the news and saw that Okinawa and Japan were hit by Typhoon Man-yi this weekend. It was a Category 4 typhoon with 112 mile per hour winds when it hit here on Friday but luckily the houses here are built out of concrete so, the only damage our base sustained was a bunch of downed trees. The radio was saying this morning that we got 16 inches of rain. We all went out for a walk last night and literally whole trees had been ripped out of the ground during the typhoon. The typhoon started Thursday evening and we were house bound until Saturday morning. Here are some pics out of our back door...

Wow- we were worried about you guys. Jon told me a typhoon was suppose to hit that area, glad to hear you guys are all ok! Seems like a lot has been happening in Japan lately, be safe. Love to all!
